Dining at Bear & Ragged Staff

At The Bear & Ragged Staff, we aim to bring wholesome home-cooking to the table using as many fabulous local ingredients as we can. We source beautiful fresh produce from local suppliers in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset - from local cheeses and ice cream to New Forest Water. 

Our menus change with the seasons, but you’ll always find some classic dishes to satisfy traditional tastes, and we always offer a delicious selection of daily specials as well as a tasty range of sandwiches and sharers on our light bites menu. Plus, on each Sunday you'll find a traditional roast dinner with a choice of three meats and all the trimmings. Delicious!

For the younger diners, there is a special kid’s menu, and we can provide smaller portions of most regular dishes on request. Coeliac-friendly versions of some of our dishes are also available to order.
